It's Been A While (And Other Updates)

It's been a long time since I updated this thing! ...Does anyone even come here anymore? ._.

I mostly updated this while I was in high school and college, and now I'm working full time in the animation industry (woo hoo!).

The downside with that is I AM doing a ton of work, but none of it can be published or posted here since it's all for the industry. Which means most of the creative output I've been doing is stuff people will either never see or never get to see what I did for it. -sigh-

I might be tempted to put more stuff on here, but it's been so long since I've done finished pieces that I dunno if its anything you guys are interested in. If you feel like requesting anything, lemme know.

I do still draw and make art on occasion, contrary to popular belief. You can check out my sketch tumblr if you wanna see poop-doodles and unfinished stuff. evalesciasketch.tumblr.com

Just feeling kinda artistically exhausted.

If you wanna see more original stuff from me, lemme know what you like. I don't really want to do any fan-art for a while though probably.

TrueTail n'Stuff

Hey guys!

So as of this summer, I joined the crew of Skynamic Studios and am now working on a new animated series called TrueTail. (Click here to watch the Promo!) (Tumblr, Facebook, Website...)

If you're familiar with Double Rainboom, the creator of that,

, is directing TrueTail. Again, if you want to know what it's about, WATCH THE PROMO! Even if you don't really care, WATCH THE PROMO. But you should care. Because some of the most talented songwriters, voice actors, artists, animators, designers and more are collaborating from all over the world to work on this project. And it is going to be absolutely amazing.

So that being said, I will probably not be very active here on DeviantArt, because we are working to get the pilot released soon. All commissions are closed, and I will try and post my work on here. If you're interested in seeing some more of my stuff, I just got a Tumblr and will be posting more on there.

The Swing of Things

_{I just wanted to apologize for the lack of activity this summer. I've been producing a lot of artwork, believe me; I've just not been posting it.

I feel the caliber of most of the stuff I've been doing isn't 'finished' enough to post on here. I was considering using the Scrapbook option and posting sketches into that, but there's also so much old (really old and, frankly, really bad) artwork already there and I don't want to explode my account with everything I've ever made. While the thought of moving accounts and starting over is appealing, I feel like it would be too confusing to keep track of all the cross-referencing. What I may do is delete much of my earlier artwork... We'll see.

This is the same reason I postponed commissions. I'm going through a critical growing stage as an artist. Believe me, I am really excited to do commissions, but I also want to give them the best I've got.

I will try to post more frequently, but know that I am going back to school soon, so... yeah...

I'm still trying to get the swing of things as I pursue art full-time, so please bear with me! And thanks again!

I'm (finally) Back!

_{At long last, the school year has ended and I am home from college. I've learned a lot—I've built better drawing habits as well as learned critical skills involving color, light, anatomy, animation, Maya, and more.

I still have to unpack a bit, but I'll try to upload some art here and there. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have a commission policy tied down so that I get back into the swing of things.

_{So I know many of you have been asking about my commission policy, and I apologize for responding so late.

Unfortunately, due to the fact I'm preparing to leave for college, I need to close all commissions until further notice. I'll also be posting less art.

Hopefully I can get back in the swing of things once I arrive, but if not, I'll be on here and there.
